From its inception in 1972 by founder Dr. James Steere, Artaurus has strived to provide top medical care and services to our equine patients with exceptional personal service to their owners, sponsors and trainers. Dr. Robert Steere joined his dad’s practice in 1995 after working in Southern California for several years at a busy ambulatory practice. In 2000, Dr. Robert bought his dad’s practice and in 2007 built a new clinic at its current location on Skillman Lane in Petaluma.

We serve patients at our clinic in Petaluma and in the field – making sure that your horse gets the care they need. Our clinic is also available for 24 hour emergency services for current clients.
